Wood-Fired Tea Bowl

Every piece that emerges from our wood-fired kiln is unique. The twenty-seven-hour firing process creates natural ash glazes that vary with the placement in the kiln, the direction of the flame, and the particular magic of that firing.

This tea bowl is sized for traditional tea ceremony use but works equally well as a morning coffee vessel or a beautiful object to hold on your desk. The hand-thrown form sits comfortably in the palm, and the surface tells the story of fire.
