What does Soul Fire Forest mean to you?

I've been thinking about why we do what we do here, and I'm curious: what does Soul Fire Forest mean to you? What keeps you coming back (or wanting to come back)?

No wrong answers. I'm genuinely curious about what draws people to this particular community.

For me it's the realness. No one here is trying to sell me anything or optimize my life. It's just people figuring out how to be human together, which sounds simple but is surprisingly rare.

Also the land itself. There's something about being in a place that's being actively cared for that settles my nervous system in a way nothing else does.

I think it's the pace. Everything in my regular life moves so fast, and here things happen at the speed of growing things. The kiln takes 27 hours to fire. The garden takes a whole season. Community takes years.

That slowness felt frustrating at first. Now it feels like medicine.

What keeps me coming back is seeing the same faces, season after season. Watching kids grow up. Watching the food forest actually start producing. Watching people I met as strangers become family.

It's not about any single event or experience. It's the accumulation.
