Exploring Together
Family Nature Day is designed for parents and children to explore the natural world together. Through simple activities and guided exploration, we'll slow down and pay attention to the living world around us.
Activities May Include
- Nature scavenger hunts
- Simple nature crafts
- Garden exploration
- Bug and bird watching
- Storytime in the meadow
Ages
Activities are geared toward children ages 3-12, but younger and older kids are welcome to participate. Parents/guardians must stay with their children throughout the event.

- Curiosity and willingness to get a little dirty
