Reflections from the Summer Gathering

Over sixty people gathered under the oaks last weekend for our annual Summer Gathering. The weather cooperated, the food was abundant, and the music went late into the night.

Highlights included River's sunrise sound bath, the community potluck that somehow produced five different kinds of kimchi, and the spontaneous song circle that emerged around the fire Saturday night. Several first-time visitors joined us, and we were reminded how special it is to welcome new faces into this space.

We also had some meaningful conversations about the future of Soul Fire Forest. The stewardship circle shared updates on the water catchment project, and we gathered input on programming for the coming year.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, contributed, and held space for each other. This is what community looks like.
